Event Details

Join us for a community potluck to send off the summer with our partners at Slow Food DC, Common Good City Farm, and City Blossoms! We will be spotlighting food and drink from local vendors and eco-friendly distributors, including several Snail of Approval winners (Slow Food's stamp of approval for sustainable and responsible establishments). You can learn more here: Snail of Approval.

We'll have drinks from Wheatland Spring Farm & Brewery, and samples from our vendors for customers to try, including Paste & Rind and Souper Girl! After 7:00, you can join us for a recipe demo provided by City Blossoms with locally grown produce, and for some bigger dishes as well :)  No contributions necessary - we hope to see you there!

City Blossoms

Sr. Director of Product Marketing

City Blossoms is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that cultivates the well-being of our communities through creative programming in kid-driven gardens. We envision cities with abundant, accessible green spaces where communities thrive and children build lifelong connections to the natural world. Applying our unique brand of gardens, science, art, healthy living, and community building, we "blossom" in neighborhoods where kids, their families, and neighbors may not otherwise have access to green spaces.

Common Good City Farm

Sr. Director of Product Marketing

Common Good City Farm is a place where community members can source fresh food, see sustainable urban agriculture in action, and gain exposure to concepts and skills to lead healthy lives. We actively engage with all members of our diverse community and create opportunities for connections on our farm, while emphasizing intensive vegetable production and modeling best practices in sustainable urban agriculture.
